Catholic Educator Workshop
Join Facing History and Ourselves and other Catholic school educators to explore themes of religion, identity, and participation. This free workshop will feature a special tour of the Choosing to Participate exhibition, giving teachers new tools and resources for the classroom as well as ideas for deepening students' experience of the exhibition. Our special guest speaker will be Reverend Carl Wilkens, the only American who chose to remain in Rwanda after the 1994 genocide began to deliver aid to children in need. Teachers of history, English, religion, and other disciplines are all welcome.
