PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS, REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. WE ARE UNFORTUNATELY UNABLE TO ACCOMMODATE MORE RSVP'S. In 1957, nine brave students set off for Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas to continue the federal mandate of integration. Join Dr. Terrence Roberts and Carlotta Walls LaNier, two of the courageous “Little Rock Nine,” as they look back on the legacy of their participation and discuss their recently published memoirs. This event is presented in partnership with the Cuyahoga County Public Library, and is made possible in part by the Ohio Humanities Council, a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. This program is held in conjunction with the Choosing to Participate exhibition.
