Facing History is co-sponsoring a conference with Martha Minow, the NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development, the Social Science Research Council and the Russell Sage Foundation to celebrate the publication of Martha's new book, Just Schools: Pursuing Equality in Societies of Difference. The book focuses on education in multicultural societies and asks what schools should do with the religious, ethnic, and cultural differences among their student populations. Educators as well as contributors to Martha's book will participate in three panel discussions.
