After the Holocaust: Re-establishing a Sense of Belonging
The end of World War II meant the beginning of a new life for survivors, but how do you recreate yourself and your place in a new community after trauma? This workshop will explore the complexities and challenges individuals faced in Germany, England, and the USA trying to re-establish themselves. Building our understanding of this part of the Holocaust study can help us understand one facet of the immigration experience faced by many of our school and community members who have been forced to relocate.
